Yee Haw! Brew day for a nut job

I fired up the hillbilly fryer and brewed the nut brown on the deck Tuesday. This method cuts brew time considerably, and I think it’s the way to go as long as it isn’t - 40f. I’m sure the neighbors caught the sweet smell wafting through the area and probably will come around in about six weeks looking for a taste.

Another round of Nut Brown please

I just received my new Nut Brown kit today so there should be some brewing in the near future. Friday night we will be sharing some ribs and suds with a few friends. I hope it warms up enough to sit under the stars on the deck. Also in my order from Northern Brewer was an auto siphon to make my transfers easier..... I’ve heard how easy they are to use so I had to have one.

Another Newcastle clone

I had a Nukey the other night and once again it was good. I stepped back the priming sugar a smidge on this batch because of the Phat Tyre's over carbonation.
