Phat Tyre Blowout!

Okay this is the first time this has ever happened to me! I was digging out a few beers of the Fat Tire clone to send back with the MapleGrovers and found four of them had "sploded". I'm surprised this hasn't happened before because I have never measured the gravity of my beers and just relied on the 1-2-3 method and the airlock activity for bottling time. What is weird about the Phat Tyre is that I kept it in the secondary a lot longer than any brew before.
As stated, the Maplegrovers were back for family obligations and we had a little rib fest to honor the occasion as well as snapping a few family photos for posterity.

The cold's gone ....So get busy fink!

I finally got the bottling of the Nukey done and it should be ready to pop around the 4th of September. I added just a smidge less priming solution to this batch in hopes it will be closer to the Nut Brown in carbonation and not as frothy as the Phat Tyre clone. In all I got 51 bottles out of the batch and the taste test passed with flying colors.
Off topic, I'd like to recommend a cooking tip......Pizza cooked on a pizza stone on the grill is very good! I made a pepperoni pizza on the grill tonight and it was out of this world! Not sure if pizza will be the same from here on out.
