Rak racks
I racked (or as Nancy says "snorkeled") the cream ale into the secondary today. It looks like a very light brew and yes, it does smell good. Man it is super nice today, sunny, no wind, and in the sixties. Woo hoo!

"Laws are like sausages, it is better not to see them being made."
Yup, it's brewin' day. The wort is chilling in the pot, the fermentor is waiting , and the air is alive with the sweet smell of hops, grains, and malt. All I need now is a little cooling time so I can pitch the yeast and put this blonde to bed. Drink up Shriners!
Got the Cream Ale kit in the mail yesterday. Looks like I'm a brewin' this weekend. It's a good thing too, the brown ale is slowly disappearing. I should have brewed earlier to prevent the dry spell coming.
The Brown Ale is still flowing out the mini kegs. It fits real well in the fridge, and seems to be staying fresh. Looks like a good system all around.
