Irish Draught bottled, reserves low

ID is in bottles now and they can't carbonate quick enough for us. Our fridge is getting dangerously low on homebrew and commercial brands will have to get us through these tough times. Meanwhile the Alt continues to ferment in the primary.

Alt brewed

I brewed the German Alt and smoked a beef brisket at the same time today. There was a spot right on the threshold of the door where I could smell the brew on the deck and the brisket finishing up in the oven at the same time.....words can't describe how heavenly it smelled.

German Alt

I ordered a German Alt beer kit yesterday. I was looking at this one in the Northern Brewer catalog the other day and thinking that I hadn't tried this variety, when lo and behold I get a NB newsletter in the e-mail with this kit on sale.

ID racked

I racked the Irish Draught on Friday the 11th and it's doing it's secondary thing. This beer was in the primary for 2 weeks because i'm kind of lazy. It smells good though.
