tire change

The Phat Tyre coughed up it's last pint last night and has been replaced with the Fat Tire using this recipe listed previously.
Fat Tire Clone
8 lbs light extract
1/2 lb 20L crystal
1/2 lb dextrine malt (carapils)
1 oz Chinook hops
1 oz Cascade hops
New Belgium's Fat Tire Yeast (harvested)

I sampled about 1/2 pint and observed:
- a lighter golden color with a nice white head (due to the use of only light extract)
- good carbonation (been sitting in the cool garage gassed up for a couple weeks)
- not so much of the signature bready/biscuit taste from the Fat Tire yeast comes through
- good hop flavor and smell
- an elevated percent of alcohol! woo hoo!
This keg is probably going to go fast, so ya better git yer ass up here before it's gone!
